cold nsbm from the ukraine with a melodic touch.

Taoe of aruond 90s mins of rehearsal material, side A has a very good sound while side b's sound lacks a little bit. Instrumental raw black metal all recorded spontaneously with just drums and guitars. Guitars are played by Eric Syre who played live drums for akitsa's gigs in 2008.

Bakbakwalanooksiwae is raw noize with some black metal influences and drumming thrown in, while Antikriist is the oposite, filthy raw balck metal with industrial noize thrown on top of that. Music created for the sole purpose of getting negative reviews! Limited to 100 copies.

The beginning of this tape, when i hjeard it made me think imediately of Mayhem's album De Mysteriis. later on it gets more raw sounding though. Limited to 666 copies..

This demo is a lot slower than the "first spell" demo, the slow pace of it and more melodic side of it makes it sound different from the old material, more like the progression it took from nihilism CD-r but.

Rawblack metal from Poland, worth checking out unlike a lot of the other material from that country. This demo did surprise me.

This tape has a raw black metal sound, not like the older material of Haatstrijd, a different production from that, like the raw black metal sound of the early 90s. Limited to 333 Copies.

Purity is a decent sounding recording which is only disappointing in the form of the vocals, would have been better with a plain, simple black metal growl as opposed to these death metal rumbles.
Battlefields is a stunning piece of music, someone described it to me as "Declaration of War done right". Which isn't a bad description. The militaristic drumming and pagan/folk interludes are great
The most ancient ones is a good recording which wuld be excellent to play on a tape deck while sat in the forest around a fire at night and discussing various topics with komrades..

I remember hearing this band on mp3.com in 2001 and trying to contact them about possibly co-operating for releasing a demo or to distribute. So when i found this demo at the end of 2003 i got it for my distro asap, and i have to say I'm not disappointed, great pagan black metal material! This band plays pagan metal with some clean vox and the guitar sound reminds mne of bathory's more hectic viking metal guitar sound, recommended.

Good raw black metal with keys, but dont worry, these are not the gay foreground type keys.

This Tape is a little hard to describe, It's melodic black metal of the early 90s kind. Not the melodic black metal which we hear all the time nowadays. Melodic yet cold sounding.

Grind/death from Portugal. The music is good, but the vocals start of a bit weak, they do get better towards the end though. The best track is the bonus Live track at the end.

Both good raw black metal demos, recorded in March `02. My only complaints are the gay dani filth type faggot squeels here and there. Pro covers and of course both are limited.

These tapes have to be the best material I have heard by this band to date. The material seems to get a more thrashy sound as time goes on.

This one is quite difficult to describe, it is a monument to the second world war, sort of a historic document of events but in musical form, the music itself reminds a lot of the old school black metal of celtic frost/hellhammer and sarcofago at times, with plenty of sounds from the second world war littering this tape. Limited to 666 copies.

This tape reminds me a lot of the christ Agony release moonlight in the sense that the songs have high pitched deth metal type growls with clean vox and it tries to sound black metal yet it fails and comes off with some soft melodic sound which is lost somewhere between melodic black metal and gothic metal and a dissection sound. As shit as that may sound, It isnt that bad.

The music on this has an interesting production it is all raw sounding except for clean produced keyboards which seem to repeat the transilvanian hunger riff over and over. Said to be the best moontower release.

This tape is rather difficult to describe, I was expecting something in the line of Emit, but when it began there were Power Electronics drones alogn with gun shots and explosions, then it faded into guitar feedback and in shot a chainsaw black metal styled raw black metal riff.... and the material just kept alternating between raw bm and black noize from there on, there were even some porn samples to be found... definately not for the weak. Recommended!

When listening to the music as a whole the drums stand out a lot and Raw Drum machine Black Metal coms to mind, but when paying more attention to the guitars and vox old shcool black metal comes to mind, specifically bathory. So i'd say imagine Bathory with rawer vocals (the occasional death growl too) and drum programing, and you get a small idea of what this sounds like, others have included comparisons to von and profanatica... Limited to 666 copies.

Warfire's material is quite bassy giving it a raw black metal/death metal feeling, perhaps this is also brought on by the death metal growl here and there. Ad Hominem is great raw black metal! Limited to 500 copies..
